Turn spirit weapons

Post by Axela » Thu Jan 19, 2006 7:38 pm

I kept a page of the turn spirit weaponry which I have gathered from 2 sources when I wanted to make a shotgun for myself a while back. For the benefit for all froobies, below is the list. I did not try out any others other than the shotgun but the grey gryph and weapons are pretty standard. The grey gryphs determines the specials, but since there is only one type of turn spirit weapon (2 if you treat the ql300 unique one as one), a check on the specials in the database will let you know what glyphs to use.

*updated*
I forgot to add the QL requirements :p

Turnspirit needs to be at least 80% of the weapon. Meaning For a QL300 weapon, you will need ql240+ turnspirit. The final ql of the weapon, like all tradeskilled items, depends on the weapon ql. As far as I know, the QL will not raise :)

*Wild applause.*

Thanks so much for compiling that list... I've always been tantalized by the prospect of sticking >200 weapons on froob toons.

Hehe, hope that the information may be of some use. No point I keep it to myself. The hard bit is actually to obtain the required items. I spend 2-3 months I think to gether the 2 parts I need. It was good as I got friends who make a check on the items whenever they went to GMS :p Some kept those shotguns I needed.

Well good luck to all. The weapon does wonders for me due to the high max damage. Min isnt really that important for RK mobs as their AC is significantly lower than SL mobs.

Hmm just a question, am making a lowbie adv right now. It seems that the Turn Spirit weapons are simply outclassed by the Crispy Chiros damage wise. Am I missing something here?

Turn Spirit weaps start owning all in sight when you can get them at QL200+, then they DO beat more popular weapons like the CoH gear... Problem is that as a fr00b it might be somewhat of a challenge to scrounge up 1.2k in a weapon skill to use a QL210-ish turned weap. Also, keep in mind that while there's a turned weap for every prof, CoH weaps are only available to a select few profs. I mean, what would a TL6 do with damage (And EVERY prof needs to be doing damage at TL6 since IP is plenty) if he's not a Advy/Enfo/Fixer/Soljah/MetaPhys?
