Nano Buffs - Other Skills

Here's a list of nanos you can seek to buff certain skills. The list here does not include any that are self-only, or profession-only. For each category, I've only listed the top tier nano; most have lower QL nanos in the same line. If nothing else, this should give you a guide as to what profession to ask for what you need buffed. These are over and above the generic expertises (+20).

For buffs of the base abilities see my other post.
  • Treatment:
  • Max NCU
  • Run Speed
    • Gridspace Freedom (QL156) - Fixer: whopping +720 / 48 NCU. Also adds +79 to all three evades.
    • Calia's Form: Wolf (Other) (QL159) - Adventurer: +320 / 49 NCU. Also adds +22 to all damage types, and, of course, makes you a wolf.
    • Free Movement (QL 43) - Adventurer: +100 / 14 NCU. Stacks w/GSF.
  • Breaking & Entering
    • Karma Harvest (QL 152) - Fixer: +130 / 47 NCU. Also adds +130 to Perception and Trap Disarmament.
    • Crowbar Subtlety (QL 20) - Engineer: +32 / 7 NCU
  • Perception
    • Stare of Cerberus (QL 162) - Adventurer: +600 / 45 NCU. Caveat: Your level must be 175+, and you must be in wolf form first.
    • Karma Harvest (QL 152) - Fixer: +130 / 47 NCU. Also adds +130 to Breaking & Entry and Trap Disarmament.
    • Blood Makes Noise (QL 116) - Fixer: +107 / 36 NCU.
  • Trap Disarmament
    • Karma Harvest (QL 152) - Fixer: +130 / 47 NCU. Also adds +130 to Breaking & Entry and Perception.
    • Trap Artifice (QL 73) - Engineer: +79 / 23 NCU.
  • Ranged & Melee weapons
    • Skill Wrangler (Premium) (QL 189) - Trader: +131 / 58 NCU. Note: I often see WTH posts for 1M tip for "131 wrangle". The wrangler line buffs the "major" weapons skills, but not the specials. In other words, you'll get 2 Handed Edged, but not Dimach; or MG/SMG, but not Burst. Also note the duration on the wrangler line is short--Premium is 3 minutes.

    • Brawling
    • Burst
    • Dimach - none
    • Fast Attack - none
    • Fling Shot
    • Full Auto- none
    • Sneak Attack
  • Nano Casting Skills
    • Mocham's Gift Line (QL 162-169) - Meta-Physicist: +140 / 51 NCU. Note: I have seen tips common here as well, but often an MP will just hit you.
    • Skill Wrangler (Premium) (QL 189) - Trader: +131 / 58 NCU. See important notes for wrangles above.
  • Tradeskilling
Again, keep in mind that many of the buffs here have lesser ones available in the same line. So you may be able to get something lower if there's a level-lock involved, or you contact a lower-level profession.

You might add Run buffs, which are very helpful for blitzing missions. Fixers and Adventurers both have some nice ones.

Excellent suggestion, Optikx. I've edited the post for Run Speed buffs.

One would think since my main is a fixer, and I'm often asked for a run buff, that I would have listed that originally... :)

this seems very useful...
do you think it would be a good idea to start a list of items that carry notable buffs? or is there a "master" list already existing?

Thinking of items like OE trading co gun, construction sleeves, etc.

Although I could see it being be broken into sub categories for length, seems like it would be uber-helpful.

Maybe add base buffs as well. Newcomers might not realise that agents have +25agi and 15sense buffs, or that doctors also have str/sta buffs. And being fr00bs, possibly a mention that the NT +int buff is SL only.

Don't forget the Team Wrangler. It adds 132 instead of 131, which doesn't seem much of a change but can be the missing point you need to get your equipment on :) Uses up 58 NCU as well.

I'm supposing all of these are target buff exclusive for convenience and clarity, but perhaps we could get a list of self(only) buffs for the otehr skills? I know those greedy traders can get away with a self complit buff (Lets see you barter this Barter Armor off me!!), but suppose I wanted to become one, how would I know that I would have this. And where to get it? (nonshop/buyable) Just suggestions for comprehension.

add for pistol there is EP from engi (120 if not mistaking)


P.S u forgot about pistols (most used weapon in game (my opinen)

Good point...I didn't do any of the main weapons skills. Perhaps that should be edited in.
