I have seen Groumf in action with his HD setup and I would hardly call it fail.
It's an original idea. Sure he sacrifices HP and AAD but the overall setup makes him a good tank.

I applaud your effort at providing a low-content post coupled with as little readability as possible. It's not like you're trying to argue a counter-point, though, right?

I am sure he can get beyond that. At the sacrification of even more readability, but nonetheless: There is room for "improvement".

eh i wish u were in RK 2 so we could compare our setups groumf :/
even tho HD setup is kewl, i guess u ll have to tell me a scenario in which u can do better than my setup...
While tankin ian warr, i could recieve a CH every 3 seconds, and even if u get a nice 200 heal tick every 3 seconds, it cant beat 2k HP more ;s
against multiple mobs, misses are better than heal ticks..
tho i would be interested to know why u chose the HD setup and for what purpose, mabe then i can understand ur cause :P

hi, i know this post is pretty old but thought it would help someone, so here goes

playing an enforcer is hard work, because we are a constant nano casting profession, and as people have said, weapons dont really matter much because they dont. we are just there to hold aggro, do some damage, and be a guineepig for punishment.

what i beleve is the best all round setup, is one with highish hp, ac and evades

http://auno.org/ao/equip.php?saveid=149320" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; <<my enfos setup Dualen RK2 195 enfo atm...

in this setup i can spam my absorb insta cast at 84% aggro bar, which is slightly less than neutral, that is ofc with rage running...

but if your just interested in best damage from weapons
1he is the way to go. cant get better than 2x crispy chirops, piercing would be next best imo with slayerdroid claw+ql200 ITD or maybe even a die kleine nadel, then id say bloodbat/mace, but these are mainly used as tl5 pvp weapons for sloobs combined with kyr hammer, due to the chem damage, panther/howlet do the same damage roughly, if not howlet doing more.

at tl5, you dont want to be using silken legchopper gloves, apart from buffing purposes, because that is -300 ac what you could easily pick up.

hope this helps someone anyway. if they need more advice send me a tell ingame.

Small fix:
Dualen wrote:but if your just interested in best damage (vs. normal RK mobs) from weapons [...]
Aside of that, Groumf's HD setup was interesting. I have only faint memories of this, but with long and short HoTs running on him it even helped at raids, and was for sure an easy game for docs in RK missions. No idea how it worked out in all detail. I wouldn't declare it a fail, far from it.

Btw, nitin, getting a GPH on RK1 as a froob is ... pure luck (Groumf is on RK1). There are some froobies on RK1 now running around with nodrop Tara items, but they are, with very few exceptions, from RK3 (infact I know of only one exception so far, but I guess there are a few more).

Exceptions are Meany x a few, my MA, and a handful of others. At least in regards to Nodrop loot. Anyone can farm creds to get buyable items from Tara. I've spent 0 creds on my iGoC, DChest, and Aura Mag. Being too cheap is the only reason stopping me from obtaining a second iGoC.

It's definitely possible to hit it if you have friends logged in the lair when the servers go down and pounce it when it goes live; however, you must beat everyone else to the punch. Definitely takes some planning, coordination, and a bit of luck.

A marginal (If any) improvement over a Hungry Howlet. Damage-wise they're almost the same with the HH having slightly better crits - Hardly worth considering, given the rarity (And cost) of the turn-spirit weapons. Maybe if you were to go high past QL200 you could show some value but it really doesn't seem that good.
