I heard about this insects and carnivorous plant that need some eradication. Tlfiveplus to the rescue!

Date: Sunday, 10 October
Time: 18:00 GMT (Your local time), be on time or you might have a hard time entering (1)
Where: Hollow island /waypoint 2302.2 694.7 605

How:

1. Everybody except pullers stand on "the beach"
2. Tank or fixer pulls eremites to rest of raid group
3. Raid group waits with hitting/shooting/sending pets until eremites are at raid force. We will provide a /assist to make this easier.
4. Engineers blind, others prevent breaking blinds on extra mobs by being sweet and following the /assist. (Everybody else also debuffs and provides damage of course.)
5. Every champion should be NSDed before/during it gets pulled. MP's get wrangles to make this easier.
6. 10th champion is a special scenario: we will kill him next to sapling and take care of all adds before finishing him. We try to pull a much adds to the beach as possible until we can't avoid pulling champion anymore. If we have only Champion at beach we slowly move towards sapling so that the whole raid force can follow and we don't get all left-behind eremite adds at the same time.
7. When all adds are gone and we finish of 10th Champion, the Hollow Island weed will become attackable. Then we have about 5 minutes before things start to get ugly so we need to kill weed as fast as possible and attack with all we have! (so hold back your damage during 10th wave if this means more damage during weed). MPs will need to NSD weed asap.
8. After 5 minutes Suzerain will spawn. At this point survival is still possible despite that this ugly insect has an AoE of 8k. MP's need to NSD this badboy really badly. Keeping some range and have health buffs+rrfe should help your survival as well .
9. After 10 minutes Brood Mother with her tons of not-so-little kids will spawn. At that point we'd probably need to bug a GM to airstrike the place and set it in flames if we'd still want a chance. In other words: weed better be death by then!

Loot

All loot will be flatrolled.
- You are allowed 1 win from a Champion
- You are allowed 1 win from the Weed
- You are allowed to roll on NODROP items for alts under the following conditions:
° They meet the requirements of the item
° They are on the island already (logged or not)
° The alt is on a different account OR you are not critical during the time it takes to relog, loot and relog
- Wins are per person, not per toon. Only join a roll from 1 toon at a time if multi-logged!


Killing the weed will be a first time accomplishment for our group, don't miss it!

We killed the weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee *takes breath*- eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed !!! Thanks for the fun raid everybody. Good job! At times we had more then a full RI! Other people will only be posting on our personal forums, so you can find more info over there as well :P.

You know, Hollow Island, that place with giant insects called eremites protecting their food called Weed. What a hippies! Lets kill them! And since it went well last time, we'll apply same strategics.

We've killed the weed before, we can do it again! But it's not easy.

(1) Getting inside during a raid!!
One thing the guide above is missing is how to get inside when the psoinic eremites are guarding the entrance. It might take some practice, but once you've mastered it, you should get inside relative easily.
The trick is to fly as high as you can, till you touch the sky! Keep the nose of your yalm (or...) tilted slightly upwards so you don't get down. Then you have to get inside the small entrance, which is the difficult part. Just aim well and you should get inside. It might help if you have the map of the playfield. As long as you stay high enough you will not get agg from the Psoinics and you can keep trying!
When we wipe, you must get back asap and try to get inside. Don't count on the engineers, they'll have a handful with the people that don't manage to get in and it takes ages to warp. If we slack at this point weed will despawn. First and foremost we will make sure not to wipe though :P.

Yeeey, we managed to kill weed again! This time we didn't kill Weed before Suzerain spawned, but while Suzerain killed like half the raidforce with her 10k nuke, enough of us where left to finish of the weed (Suz was being tanked and probably NSDed by then :) ).

We have been hired by the ICC to take out some mercenaries that are destabilizing the already fragile peace on Rubi-Ka.

Raid went well :). Didn't have tons of people, but managed to take down 4 mercs at least :).

We killed Azzy with 14 level 25 froob toons (or lower) without OSBs (full team of enfos and four docs) and then couple times more with buffs. It was fun and hilarious so it's time to launch a full campaign with Totw toons!
