Good monsters to charm?

Good monsters to charm?

Postby Zlixero on Mon Apr 04, 2016 5:23 am

So I just got 'Total Mental Domination' on my little crat, and was wondering if any of you guys got some good tips on charm-able monsters in different zones?

So far I got;

Mantis Den:
- Den Mantis Breeder
- Den Nano-Mantis (low psy. charm-able with 'Captivated Thoughts')

The Reck:
- Seismic Lizard
- Dragonclaw Knight

Belial Forrest
- Stinking Scorpiods

RK missions:
- MA/Enf/Slayer droids/Mech dogs

Regarding mechdogs:
Hellhounds are better charms than bioarranged beasts as they seem to have a lot less nano resist.

EFP:
Lvl 210+ Medusa Elder near Tchu, Slayerdroids near the Diamonde Soldier or Tertius Mobs from the Ace camp.

SFH:
Followers of the One.

DAV:
Medusa Elder, Dragonclaws from Drill Island

PW:
lvl 200 Cyborg Generals

Mort:
Cyborg Colonels

CAV:
Boa Rex, Snake dyna minions.

Lush fields:
Slayerdroids

Milky Way:
Cyborg Aggressors

SAV:
Lvl 190+ Reedwalker/Biledrinker/Marsh Warden

Athen Shire:
Trash King Lackey

Broken Shore:
lvl 160+ Dragonscale/ Mounted Cloakrider - because they look awesome.

On top of that I try to charm an eremite whenever I think I can get away with it.
Due to being underground they don't obstruct vision on the move and while not too big on dmg, they got reasonable hp to act as meat shields.
Scaring teammates with them is something of a free bonus.

The mark of a truly superior player is the use of his superior judgement to avoid situations requiring the use of his superior skill.

Back in the day I remember there being an eremite in Mort which wiped our entire team.
However I've never seen once since which might lead me to believe that it was either part of some special event or a bug.
