It feels ... weird. (but not unwelcomed)

Up until now Shades have always been quite unique...I suppose now these new generation of shades BLEND in to society.

Implants are probably going to stay as they are. Shades have Spirits instead (Which are basically symbiants) anyway...

It may be hard to globally get rid of the "Not Shade" flag with EXCEPTIONS (such as implants). I don't see why implants should not be allowed to them if they are opened to everything else anyways. It just means that shades have an EXTRA access to spirits.

Actually in hindsight it may be even more effort to code when a shade can and can't load their implant slots based on if it is a spirit or implant and whether they used a surgery clinic or not.

Implants or symbiants did never have the "not shade" tag. so they will be as before. Sided shades will now have the uber token boards and one thing I started considering on mine was the upgraded Mercs helmet :)

I have very little experience with Shades, but I know Wilfonso here ingame has a high level Shade. He knows what he's talking about ^^

Shades will be unique even after rebalance. Shade uniqueness doesnt come from equip, it comes from fighting style (perkperkperkperkperkperkperkperkperkperkperkperkperk) and spirits.
For engame shades, only non-shade items they want after rebalance will be upgraded combined commando's helmet and token board.
