Do you know someone who you think exemplifies their profession in Anarchy Online? Someone who knows their profession backwards, forwards, and in-between? Someone who can clearly and reliably talk about their chosen profession, introduce new players to the ins-and-outs of life on Rubi-Ka, and offer valuable feedback to the developers? Well, here's your chance to get them into the spotlight!
Here's how this works: Each profession in game will receive two Professionals slots - These individuals will be chosen by you, the players, to receive greater access to chat with and discuss any issues they feel relevant to their profession and the game at large. In addition, the Professionals will also receive unparalleled access to our Bug Hunters staff on Testlive to aid in testing new content, as well as receiving special sneak-previews to upcoming content and ideas. In return, we simply ask for an active presence on the forums and the ability to communicate with ourselves and the players.

Following some suggestions on this thread, we are reorganizing a few forums. I have changed the server specific forums. There are now 3 sub-forums each under the categories of Atlantean and Rimor:
1. Atlantean OOC and Rimor OOC is for out-of-character discussions
2. Atlantean Life and Rimor Life is for in-character discussions ONLY and I'll instruct the moderators to strictly enforce this.
3. Atlantean Recruitment and Rimor Recruitment is for org recruiting. This replaces the Org Recruitment forum and will make it easier to find orgs specific to the two main servers.

In an effort to alleviate some of the spam we've been getting lately we've made a change.
All new users will be required to have their first post approved by a Moderator or Administrator before they are allowed to post freely. This change shouldn't affect any of our existing users, but should keep the spammers at bay.
We've also made a change to Private Messages. There has been a maximum of 5 recipients set. Again, the idea is that the spammers won't be able to send out their messages en masse any more, therefore they should go away.
We'll continue to monitor the situation and hope that these changes will make for a better experience on the site.
